  Did you notice the  in the picture? It stands for One More Child, our mission partner for the month of October. The purpose of One More Child is simple. In their own words, “We exist to change the lives of children and families through Christ-centered services.”In the past we have known this organization and worked along side it as Florida Baptist Children’s Home. The services of One More Child extend beyond the foster homes established throughout our state. Contributions we make help struggling families, children in foster care, moms in the single moms program and pregnancy care centers. So, why is that adorable baby sitting with stacks of diapers? One More Child needs diapers MORE THAN EVER before! Let’s help fulfill the dream that their centers will overflow with resources for hurting families. We need your help to get there! Click here to see how YOU can get involved. It’s estimated that it takes up to 2,500 diapers at a cost of over $700 for one child for one year. We can help. When a foster family or a single mom have limited means, a gift of diapers and wipes is such a blessing! We will collect diapers (larger sizes especially), pull-ups and wipes each Sunday from October 11 through October 25. Watch for other ways to donate in our weekly newsletter.
