First Baptist Gainesville believes stewardship is an integral aspect of our spiritual formation and commitment to sacred partnership (membership). While our stewardship takes many forms, giving financially through our church is a primary way to participate with God in our Kingdom mission.
Ministry Budget Offering
Our weekly Ministry offering supports the budget for the entire work of our church: missions, worship, discipleship, ministries, personnel, maintenance and facilities. We annually vote on this budget to guide our spending. We invite all sacred partners (members) to give generously to this offering monthly.
Nehemiah Plan
In the October 2019, First Baptist Church joined together to fund needed repairs and preservation efforts to the walls of our facility. Our Nehemiah Plan seeks to raise $100,000 in cash by October 27, 2019 and to have $100,000 pledged to be paid by the end of 2020. The Nehemiah plan allows the church to complete the preservation work in the fall of 2019 with funds on hand and to replace reserve funds over the next 14 months.
Giving Options
- Annual Offering Envelopes: Each January (or at point of membership), sacred partners receive a box of monthly offering envelopes. Use these envelopes to give gifts to the church either in a Bible Study class or in worship.

- Enter your gift amount.
- Give to the fund preselected or click under the TO field to support a different fund.
- Enter your email.
- Click Give
- Choose your account type (Credit/debit/checking account)
- Enter your account number and billing address.
- Click Give to complete your donation.
- You’ll receive an email confirmation of your gift.
- Recurring Donations:
- Sign in (or sign up) at www.onrealm.org.
- Click the GIVING button on the left side of the screen under COMMUNITY.
- Your giving page will now appear, showing your contributions this year.
- To set up a reoccurring gift, click +GIVE
- Enter a $ amount, choose what areas you’d like to support, and select the frequency (one time or recurring donation).
- Enter the payment information. Click GIVE at the bottom to complete the donation.
- One Time Gifts to Budget or Nehemiah Plan:
- Realm APP: Download the Realm Connect app from an app store to your phone. This app will allow you to give one-time gifts, set up recurring gifts, manage your contact information for the church in your profile and find contact information for others in the church. It’s a handy app to have!
- TEXT Giving: To give via text, text the words FBCGAINESVILLE to the phone number 73256. You’ll receive a text message in response with your next steps. After you give one time, your payment method will be saved, so you can quickly give again from your phone.
