Welcome

What happens when I arrive?
After arrival, you will be greeted at our front doors by volunteer greeters. At our Welcome Desk in the large gathering area, one of our welcome staff can direct you to a worship service, the children’s area or a Bible study.

Will there be refreshments?
Of course! When you arrive, you will discover coffee, juice, and breakfast snacks waiting for you in our Gathering Area.

How do I connect to a small group?
We have several small groups that meet on Sundays and during the week. Our welcome staff will help you find just the right group. You can also visit our Connect page for more information.

What about my children?
Our children and preschool ministries are located in the Educational wing of the church. When you enter into the church you will go past the Welcome Desk and take the hallway to the right to enter the education wing. The children’s hallway will be to the left (the adult department is to the right). Bible study begins at 9:15 am with our large group time, then we break out into small group time to dive deeper into our Bible lesson. We end at 10:15 am and head to worship with our families where we participate in worship with all our adults and hear a children’s message from one of the pastors. Then all kids are dismissed to Children Worship Time in the “Family Room” at about 10:45 am.

What time should I arrive for Worship?
When you visit us, we encourage you to arrive 10 minutes prior to the service to find a parking spot and find a seat before the service starts.

How long is the worship service?
On average, each worship service lasts about one hour.

What do I wear to worship?
You are welcome to worship at FBC just as you are. You will find folks dressed from blue jeans to business casual to suits and dresses. Ultimately, we believe it’s the attitude of your heart that matters to God rather than your physical appearance.

What style of music is used?
You will experience a traditional atmosphere in worship where the proclamation of God’s Word mixes with the beauty of our sanctuary and the anthems of our choir and music groups to direct our attention to Jesus. At the same time, you will experience contemporary music and hymns; creative expressions of art and liturgy; and a friendly worshipping community.
