Meet Brenda in the kitchen to prepare the meal for clients of the Helping Hands Clinic. Baked goods are appreciated as well. Have cookies or brownies (no nuts) in the church kitchen by 2 pm on the 6th.

Second Sunday of Advent – In Morning Worship

The Building and Grounds Committee announces a service day for First Baptist Church on Thursday, December 2, beginning at 8:30 am. We are getting a load of mulch for the Children’s Playground and it will be spread by volunteers . Come join the fun!!!

. In Worship:  We will welcome a Christian from Bethlehem to offer a word of greeting to our congregation. Before and after Worship:  Blest Art, a distributor of Holy Land Olive Wood items will be set up in the Fellowship Hall for Sacred Partners to review and possibly purchase in time for Christmas.  Purchase of Blest Art supports artisans and Christians in Bethlehem.   

Join your church family as we rejoice in all the Lord has done in and through us over the last year.  The church will provide turkey, dressing and drinks.  Sacred partners and friends are invited to bring their favorite veggie, side item or desert to share. 

In Worship:  We will rejoice over God’s goodness as we bring our Rejoice Offerings to the alter as gifts to the Lord.  Rejoice Financial Offering: The financial gifts will both raise funds and momentum for the 2022 Ministry Plan.  Rejoice financial gifts can be given through December.  Rejoice Mission Offering:  Sacred Partners and guests of all ages are invited to bring a nonperishable food offering for the local food bank or gently used winter gear (hats, gloves, etc.) for Helping Hands…
